THE CLIENT’S SITUATION

A Growing Practice Whose Website Needed to Catch Up

Grace Integrated is an established private practice with therapists and counselors working across six locations in the Chicago area, offering individual, couples, family, and group therapy alongside telehealth options and a range of specialized treatment approaches. As the practice grew, its website needed to keep pace: more services to explain, more clinicians to introduce, more locations to represent clearly, and a stronger presence in search so that people looking for mental health support in their area could actually find the practice online.

The existing site was built on WordPress with WPBakery Page Builder, which gave Zluck a stable foundation to build on rather than starting from scratch. What the site needed was a comprehensive redesign: a cleaner visual language, a proper content structure for services and treatments, and the technical groundwork (navigation, blog, SEO, performance, security) to support a growing, multi-location practice.

THE CHALLENGE

Clarity and Trust, Backed by a Solid Technical Foundation

A counseling practice’s website carries real weight. For many visitors, it is the first and most personal step, deciding whether to reach out for help at all, so clarity, warmth, and trust needed to come through on every page. At the same time, the site had grown organically over time, without services and treatments organized as their own dedicated pages, without a clear way to browse team members by location, and without a navigation system that could hold a growing list of services without overwhelming visitors.

On the technical side, several things needed attention at once: SEO fundamentals that had fallen behind, page speed that needed tightening, and security gaps that come with an older WordPress and page builder setup. None of this could be addressed in isolation. The redesign, the new content structure, and the technical cleanup all needed to move together so the finished site felt like one coherent product rather than a patchwork of fixes.

HOW WE BUILT IT

A Full Redesign, Built on the Existing Foundation

Zluck approached the project as a full redesign on the existing WordPress and WPBakery setup rather than a platform migration, preserving the client’s investment in their current stack while modernizing everything visitors and search engines actually see and interact with.

The team redesigned every page on the site, then built out dedicated services and treatment pages so each offering has a clear, dedicated home. The team and location pages were redesigned to make it easy for visitors to find a clinician near them, an important detail for a practice operating across six locations.

To support the growing content, Zluck implemented a mega menu so the full range of services and locations stays organized rather than crowding a standard dropdown, and built a blog page with filters so visitors can browse articles by topic. Alongside the design and structural work, the team worked through the site’s SEO, page speed, and security, closing gaps that had built up over time.

What Was Delivered

Full Visual Redesign Across the Site

Every page on the Grace Integrated website received an updated design, giving the practice a consistent, modern look and a more welcoming first impression from the homepage through every inner page.

New Services and Treatment Pages

Dedicated pages were built out for the practice’s services and treatment approaches, giving each offering, from individual and family therapy to telehealth and specialized treatment tracks, room to be explained clearly instead of being folded into one generic services page.

Redesigned Team and Location Pages

The team and location pages were rebuilt with an updated design, making it easier for visitors to find the right clinician and the right office across the practice’s six locations.

Blog With Filters

A blog page was implemented with filtering, so visitors can browse articles by topic rather than scrolling through an undifferentiated list.

Mega Menu Navigation

A mega menu was implemented to organize the practice’s growing list of services and locations into a navigation structure that stays clear and easy to scan as the site grows.

SEO, Speed, and Security Improvements

Zluck addressed SEO issues, tightened page speed, and fixed security gaps, strengthening the technical foundation behind the new design.

BEFORE & AFTER

What Changed, Area by Area

BeforeGrace Integrated’s website ran on a dated, general-purpose layout that hadn’t kept pace with the practice’s growth. Services and treatment approaches were folded into a small number of general pages, without room to explain each offering, and team and location information was hard to browse, with no clear way to match a clinician to a specific office. There was no structured way to browse blog articles by topic, the navigation relied on a standard dropdown menu that couldn’t hold the practice’s full range of services and locations without feeling cluttered, and SEO fundamentals had fallen behind while page speed lagged and security gaps had built up over time.

AfterEvery page now carries a cohesive, modern design, and dedicated pages exist for each service and treatment approach so visitors can find and understand the specific support they need. Redesigned team and location pages make it easy to find the right clinician at the right office, a new blog page lets visitors filter content by topic, and a mega menu keeps the growing list of services and locations organized and easy to scan. On the technical side, SEO issues have been addressed, page speed tightened, and security gaps closed.
